Holiday Family Vacation was a success! As some of you may know, we took the kids to Disney World this past week. The decision to visit Disney World around the holidays was to celebrate both Aria and Ax’s birthdays. Since they are a month apart and Adrian Jr.’s birthday falls right around the holidays, it was perfect for letting them experience Disney during this time.
We took the kids to Disney last year in the summertime. Aria was turning three, and Ax was around seven months. Both babies were tiny, and because of that, they don’t remember much!
Nevertheless, experiencing Disney is always magical, especially as they age. They both are huge fans of Mickey’s Clubhouse on Disney Plus, and they recognize all the characters, especially Aria. It is just the sweetest!
When visiting Orlando, we love to always stay at the Waldorf Astoria. It provides both luxury and leisure for parents and kids. We love the fact that it is family-friendly, and the service is by far exceptional. Not to mention the amenities keep us coming back! It is the perfect place to stay for holiday family vacation, or any trip!
This time of year since it’s the holidays! They had a special treat at the front for all guests! These chocolate-covered s’mores. All I can say is if you’ve never tasted chocolate-covered s’mores, you must! We thought the delectable treats were so good. I kept going back to the front, asking for more!
As you can see, I was overjoyed with happiness. I’m a major s’mores fan, so these were perfect! The best start to our holiday family vacation. After the family got their treat from the front, we checked into our rooms!
My family and I always opt for the Deluxe King Suite overlooking the pool and parks! It’s the best view, and you can even see the fireworks show at Epcot at night! It’s breathtaking.
The King Suite is grand, with a king-size bed and an entire living room with a pull-out sleeper sofa, it’s perfect for your little ones!
The kiddos slept on the pull-out bed, and they loved it!
The Waldorf Astoria is one of the top-rated places to stay in Orlando, giving you an authentic 5-star experience, I would highly recommend it for your next family vacation!
After taking our time getting settled into our suite! We were starving, so we headed to the Aquamarine restaurant to enjoy the weather and grab food before starting our day.
The restaurant is next to the pool, so you can eat, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
I love this restaurant so much because the food is seriously delicious, but if I had to pick my top favorites, you must try the: Grouper Sandwich (Blackened), The Maine Lobster & Shrimp Wrap (Cold dish), or the Bistro Beef Burger! Each dish was delicious.
For drinks! My all-time favorite is their Prosecco Popsicles! As a prosecco fan, I always get excited to try all the different flavor popsicles they add to their drinks! And the best part is the popsicles are all-natural fruit, making the drinks taste extra delicious. My favorite flavors are Raspberry Basil, Lemon & Mint (Similar to a Mojito), Mixed Berry, and Strawberry!
After we ate, we let the kids play some games in their outdoor game area by the pool. They even have a mini golf course for parents and children to play in! We had a blast with the kids in this area.
Once we finished playing, we headed out and did a little shopping in Disney Springs, then came back and ended our day with some in-room dining!
The next day was a relaxation day for the parents. Since we didn’t have a sitter, we decided to take turns going to the spa!
At the spa, I got the works! I needed an excellent deep-tissue massage with a few additions. I opted to add a foot scrub, hot stones, and CBD lavender oil! It was amazing!
Then I relaxed in the jacuzzi and just enjoyed my me time.
After our me-times, we headed to Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! The highlight of our family vacation! It’s a wonderful event to see the parades, ride the rides, and indulge in all the free cookies and hot cocoa your heart desires!
We had a relaxing day at the Waldorf! Since we were going to be in Orlando for a few days, we wanted to enjoy a nice pool day! This day was a blast; we lounged in their personal cabanas, played in the pool with the kiddos, ate lunch, and drank endless amounts of prosecco popsicles.
We spent it all day at Hollywood Studios & Epcot! Which was perfect.
We returned to the Waldorf and had dinner at their sister property, the Signia Hilton, where we dined at Zeta Asia. The food and ambiance were perfect. See our TikTok here.
We said our goodbyes and headed out to the airport! Overall it was such a fantastic family vacation. If you are looking for a luxury experience for both you and your kiddos, make the Waldorf Astoria your place! You won’t be disappointed.
