Aria Turns 1! The Story Of Aria. Happy Birthday.

So the day has finally come. We officially have a One year old! When I tell you I have waited for this day for my entire life. Aria Vanessa Carter was born November 14th, 2018 at 6:08am in the Memorial Miramar Hospital in Miramar, Florida. It feels like yesterday when I found out I was pregnant. Our lives completed changed forever.

A Fun Memory Timeline of Aria’s Birthday.

  • I found out I was pregnant March 2018 at 3 weeks. We had conceived in Napa California. Which meant a lot of wine and a lot of love.
  • June 2018 we had our Gender Reveal in Houston, TX at my mom’s house. I was so surprised we were having a girl. I really thought I was having a boy, because Adrian has so many Nephews. I was convinced
  • And November 13 going into the 14th I was induced. Aria had some trouble keeping her heart rate up, so they quickly rushed me to the operating room for a c-section. And by 6:08am she was here.
  • She was and still is the most beautiful little being that we have been blessed with. If you know my story you know how much trouble I had throughout pregnancy and how tough my little girl was and is.
  • The first person to hold her was my mom, which was very sentimental. My dad passed away a year before she was born so it was truly meaningful to have my mom there.
  • Aria has always been a fighter, which explains her personality now. When she was born she had a hard time regulating her blood so she had to stay in the NICU for a few days.
  • After the four days. She was released to go home. And we we’re finally stepping into our new reality.
  • We made her middle name Vanessa to honor my Mother in Law who passed away from cancer 3 months after our wedding. She always wanted a granddaughter and we know she would have loved Aria to the moon and back.

We celebrated Aria’s birthday this past Sunday on the 17th with Family and Friends it was magical. I will say throwing a party and doing everything yourself is very tiring. But it was all worth it to see our little girl smile. Here are a few pictures to recap the party.
