Memorial day will be here in less than two weeks, and we’re so thankful for those who have served! It’s always so nice to spend extra time my family, and we’ll have everyone home, so I have been looking into Memorial Day activities for the whole family, and I wanted to share what I’ve found! So many fun activities for the whole family, for kids of all ages, and things you can do no matter where you live. Keep reading to check them out!

Memorial Day Activities That Are Great For The Whole Family

1. Have a beach/lake day! With the weather getting warm, it’s the perfect place to hangout. For an extra fun day, look into boat rentals near you!
2. Cookout/have a backyard BBQ! Nothing brings people together like good food. Grill out in your backyard, turn on some music, play lawn games, and relax! 
3. Get the kids involved! Write letters to soldiers and their families, and have younger kids draw a picture!
4. Attend a Memorial Day parade! So many cities have amazing parades; a quick Google search will help you find a parade near you.
5. Check out your local town/cities Memorial Day itinerary. Many cities have farmers markets, crafts for kids, fun festivals, and more Memorial Day activities for the whole family!
6. Take a trip! The long weekend is the perfect time to take the family on a quick getaway.
7. Get matching family outfits! The Children’s Place has so many cute outfits so you can match with your mini.

We are so thankful for those who have served and have died for our country, and we are thankful to have a chance to celebrate them!
