This halloween is a bit more extra special because we are officially celebrating it in a new house and in a new neighborhood. While there are some unprecedented challenges with Covid, we are doing are very best to remain safe and protected. Nevertheless, we won’t let this pandemic stop us from having a good time and celebrating one of my favorite holidays. This year I decided to do a simple tablescape for our dining room and since I am obsessed with Mackenzie-Childs. I was super elated to receive a few pieces from their Halloween collection.
I loved the idea of doing a gingham table runner and table napkins. I thought the table napkins would be a nice compliment to these black plates I found at Target. Since the focus of the table was about the pumpkins and Caldron I thought it would be a good idea to place black candles throughout the tablescape.
Instead of adding punch, I decided to use our caldron for candy to pass out to Trick or Treaters (if we get any). Each pumpkin had a very unique detail, which is what I love the most about the Mackenzie-Child designs. They are handcrafted and hand painted to be a whimsical and fun design. These pieces are very fun and timeless to have in your collection.
Instead of adding napkin rings, I decided to use small pumpkins that spelled out spooky. Each one a special size for each seat. I loved the high and low elements of the candles and candle holders which really added a nice special touch.
Each item really complemented each other which brought the space together. This tablescape made me so excited about celebrating Halloween this year. I am linking all the items below but here are a few more pictures of our tablescape details.
