I love color-coordinating with my kids, especially for photos! When choosing our outfits, I like picking classic colors that will look gorgeous hanging in my home. Neutral outfits are classic and timeless, and if you’re ever in unsure of a color scheme, creams, tans and whites are the way to go! I recently had a photoshoot with my kids and the photos turn out beautifully; keep reading for how I styled our outfits and some photos for our shoot!
When selecting our neutral outfits, I started with my dress first! I fell in love this dress from Banana Republic and knew right away I needed it for this shoot. Because it was neutral with creams and browns, I knew it would be super simple to coordinate outfits for the kids. The wrap fit of the dress is so flattering and I love the print. This dress would be perfect for a vacation or date night and can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with sandals! Whatever the occasion, this dress is sure to wow!
After I settled on my dress, it was time to choose the kid’s neutral outfits! I started with Aria’s dress and settled on a ivory lace dress that looked so beautiful on her. This dress is one she can wear time and time again. For Ax’s neutral outfit, I stuck with the basics. You can never go wrong with a white button down with khakis and he looked so handsome! Both of their outfits looked amazing with my dress and they looked so adorable!
If you have a family photo shoot coming up, I would definitely recommend choosing neutrals! The pictures will turn out stunning and they will be something you and your family can cherish forever. I absolutely love how our photos turned out and I am so happy with our neutral outfits! For more fashion inspiration, check out my loft looks for spring.
