The holidays are here and I love all of the togetherness that comes with the holiday season! Whether it’s a holiday party or a movie night with the kids, it’s always so nice to spend time with the people I love. I definitely have a list of ‘must-do’ activities that are what make the holiday season the best time of the year. Today I am sharing a list of 8 quick and affordable idea to do this season!
Family pajamas are always a hit and a memory the kids will cherish forever and I have just the PJs for you! My family and I partnered with The Children’s Place to make your holiday pajama shopping so easy and you’re not going to want to miss out!

I don’t know about you, but I love a quick holiday movie to end the night! We love a good classic, such as ‘A Christmas Story’ and ‘Home Alone’ and the kids are obsessed with ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas’ and ‘The Polar Express’. I also love a good, cheesy, holiday rom-com when it’s just me and my hubby!
If you like competition, you will love this holiday must-do! All you have to do is find the ugliest Christmas sweater out there and the best one wins! Such an easy holiday activity, yet so much fun.
Allowing kiddos to understand the importance of giving back to others instills amazing values and teaches life long skills. Before Santa drops in, assist your kiddos in packing up all their old, gently used toys and take them to your nearest Salvation Army.
No matter the age, a gingerbread house is always fun and tasty! You can buy different kits from Target, Walmart & Amazon to get started. And if you’re really ambitious, you can even make it homemade!
One of my favorite holiday activities we do every year is we check out the Christmas lights as a family. Most zoos and cities have amazing light shows. Taking a drive around different neighborhoods is always so much fun and we love that it is free!
You know I love to host and having an end of the year soiree is right up my alley. You can go as grand or as low key as you’d like! Invite your friends and family over, do karaoke, eat amazing food, and reflect on what you have been blessed with and accomplished this year! A super inexpensive option is a Holiday Potluck!

Take a moment and give back to the community, if you are able. You can go to your local food bank and help with giving food baskets or even volunteering at your local church! The goal is to give back time to those in need.
